These stories are also in the running to win prizes. There are first, second and third prizes in both categories: Open (max 1500 words) and Short (max 500 words). Prize winners will be announced at the book launch in November at Tabor, Adelaide. More details on this event will follow. Every writer is allowed to submit a maximum of one story per category and we especially congratulate the contributors who have two stories selected.
We would also like to thank every person who took the time to write a story of life and submit it to us. We recognise that a great deal of time and effort often goes into remembering and recounting events that are often deeply personal. Even though we cannot publish every story, we read every one, and thank you sincerely for sharing them with us.
