This week we are featuring Jade Wyatt’s story, Fighting For Peace.

Jade says:
‘This photo is of my inspiration.
My children.
They are my joy, my hope, my delight.
Every day they show me the beauty of God in their kindness, their forgiveness, their enthusiasm for life.
And, in the depth of my love for them, I see a faint echo of the incomprehensible endlessness of God’s love for me.
When they drive me crazy, I am reminded that despite my failings, God loves me.
When they make me laugh with their cheeky grins and wicked humour, I am reminded that God enjoys me.
When they are kind to each other, and my heart swells with pride, I am reminded that God is pleased with me.
A scripture that I often think of is Colossians 3:17 ‘And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.’
This is my focus, in my writing, in raising my children, in life. The story I wrote for ‘Stories of Life’ was written with this in mind, and my hope is that it will encourage other mothers (and fathers!) as we battle each day to do the best we can for our children, and remind us all that our Father loves us more than we will ever understand.’
