When we first started Stories of Life, we didn't have a ten-year-plan. It was more a case of 'let's invite people to send in their true stories of faith and testimony, and see what we get'. Over the past decade, we've been amazed by the diversity and heart of the many stories we've received and published.
Each year, we pick one story to be the title, and design a book cover around that story. The result has been - let's say - eclectic. As this is our tenth year, we thought it'll be a good idea to create a template, a look to tie together the series. A huge shout-out to our designer Naw Day Day, who listened to our ideas, and produced a design template that we love, and hope to use for the next ten years, at least.
Furthermore, we're delighted to announce that the title for our 2025 anthology will be Turning Ten and other stories of life. We congratulate Jenny Woolsey for writing the 'Turning Ten', a story about God's sustaining care through the ordeal of surgery just before her tenth birthday. We couldn't think of a more fitting title for our tenth anthology. Thank you Jenny!
Ben Morton visualised this year's photo concept. Friends and family of our administer, May Kuan, baked the birthday cake and staged a photo shoot. Like all our books, the cover design was a collaborative affair.

Turning Ten and other stories of life will be launched at Tabor Adelaide on 27 November at 6:30pm. All are invited. Prize winners in both the Open (max 1500 words) and Short (max 500 words) categories will be announced. We have also decided that eating birthday cupcakes together will be a great way to mark our tenth anniversary. Hope to see you there, in person, or via our Facebook livestream.
